Platform Engineer

📍 London (Hybrid)
💰 £60,000 - £75,000
⏳ Permanent / Full-Time

We're working with a market-leading consultancy investing heavily in its cloud platform capability and are looking for a Databricks Platform Engineer to join a growing team responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable Databricks environments across both internal platforms and client projects.

This is a platform engineering role rather than a data engineering position. You'll focus on building and maintaining the infrastructure that enables Data & Analytics teams to deliver high-quality solutions, rather than developing ETL pipelines or data products.

What is on offer

  • Hybrid working
  • Work on greenfield platform deployments
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale Databricks implementations and technical stakeholders
  • Opportunity to develop alongside experienced platform engineers
  • A collaborative engineering culture with excellent opportunities for development and progression

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
