Platform Engineer - Hybrid (2x London) - 3 month contract - paying £450 outside IR35 - immediate starters
About us
We're a well-established UK digital company with a portfolio of consumer-facing brands, backed by a strong data platform and a start-up mindset.
The role
Join our cloud infrastructure team, running multiple Kubernetes (EKS/Fargate) clusters on AWS and shared services like OpenSearch, Envoy, Vault, and Prometheus. We're expanding into data engineering, using tools like Argo Workflows and n8n. Open to Senior or Staff level. We're strong open-source contributors.

What you'll do
- Own architecture, CI/CD, and reliability across the platform
- Set technical direction with real autonomy
- Mentor engineers and share knowledge across the org
- Use data and metrics to drive performance, cost, and security improvements
What we're looking for
- Production Kubernetes experience
- Golang, Helm, Terraform (Python a plus)
- Cilium/eBPF and strong networking knowledge
- Experience with monitoring, debugging large systems, and vulnerability management
- Familiarity with AWS multi-account setups, GitHub Actions, and OpenTelemetry
