Platform Engineer: Platform Solutions (Remote)

About Us

Launched in 2019, Constructor is an AI-first ecommerce search and discovery platform that helps shoppers find the right products at the right time and enables leading global e-commerce brands to drive meaningful revenue and conversion gains.

About the Role

The Platform Solutions team builds the core internal software services that sit on top of our cloud infrastructure, serving as the high-performance backbone for all product teams. Instead of traditional infrastructure provisioning, we focus on writing custom, distributed services that abstract away complex backend challenges. Our work directly impacts platform security and reliability by handling organization-wide scale for critical capabilities like real-time bot detection, advanced rate limiting, and traffic priority control.

As a Platform Engineer, you will treat the platform as a product—designing, coding, and optimizing high-throughput, low-latency services from scratch. You will collaborate with engineers across the organization to deliver resilient, code-driven solutions that protect our uptime and empower developer velocity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
