Platform Infrastructure Engineer IV (Hybrid – Office 3 Days/WK)
Location: Onsite-Flex (Portland, OR; Renton, WA; Vancouver, WA; Spokane, WA; Burlington, WA; Medford, OR; Lewiston, ID; Boise, ID; Salt Lake City, UT)

About the Role
At Cambia, Platform Infrastructure Engineers IV drive the implementation of complex, business-critical infrastructure across high-scale, high-uptime, and secure environments.
You’ll leverage four core pillars of expertise:
- Modern cloud platform design and AWS/Azure operations
- DevOps and automation to reduce toil and improve reliability
- Security-by-design and compliance-driven best practices
- Leadership and mentorship to develop team capabilities
As a senior platform leader, you’ll drive enterprise-level modernization, sound architectural decisions, and AI-левентенные, selaynoxy oүaloшиowe syteмы that optimize delivery speed, cost, and quality.
What You’ll Bring to Cambia
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 8 years of experience developing, deploying, and operating tools in production environments
Recommended Certifications (Not Mandatory)
AWS:
- Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional)
- DevOps Engineer (Associate/Professional)
- SysOps Administrator (Associate/Professional)
- Developer (Associate/Professional)
Skills & Attributes
Technical Expertise
- Deep experience in cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) with reliability, security, and high availability fundamentals
- Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform & Ansible preferred)
- Automated delivery pipelines (CI/CDpipelines, CircleCI preferred)
- Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab) for incrmemental changes, tests, and repeatable deployments
- Observability & incident management: Metrics, logs, traces + root-cause analysis
- Responsible automation (including AI-powered workflows where applicable)
- Security-by-design: Secure baselines, automated identity policies, secrets management, compliance readiness

Modern Engineering Mindset
- Defines platform standards and reference architectures for IaC, microservices, and policy-as-code
- Champions dev experience improvements and production-grade reliability
- FinOps awareness for cost optimization and operational efficiency
Leadership & Collaboration
- Bridges engineering and business leaders to align priorities
- Acts as player/coach (hands-on delivery + team mentorship)
- Deadlines sensitive to complex, high-impact initiatives and builds culture of ownership
Key Responsibilities
Platform Design & Implementation
- Design and build scalable, secure cloud infrastructure (networks, identity, compute, storage)
- Use IaC to automate as much as possible while maintaining game day simplicity
- Foster assestructured platform layers to enable shared governance and self-service
Modernization & Best Practices
- Establish organization-wide platform roadmaps for CI/CD, monitoring, fraud patrony, alerting
- Evangelize cutting-edge solutions, including AI acceleration where applicable
Incident Leadership & Reverse Toil
- Toil-tive observability and proactive front-red " incident response
- Openownership tools of dating attacks to automate resolution
Financial & Vendor Accountability
- Required cost models both from a tool perspective and external term pricing optimization strategies
- Advise on vendor onbidity-switching as new platform capabilities emerge
Inclusive Development & Knowledge Sharing
- Document and documintate best practices in regional formal
- Collabort with colleagues and Bucks partners to mean consistent experiences
Work Environment
- Hybrid: Observe focus (attend in-person for 3 days per week)
- May include intermittent state or local travel
- Expect to work outside normal hours and respond to correo

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Ranges
- OR/WA/UT/BC: $136,000 - $184,000 (base), plus 15% target bonus
- ND: $113,000 - $160,000 (base)
- Full Range for PIX in ND: Up to $187,737.35
