Role: Platform Manager
Rate: £600/day inside IR35 (via Umbrella)
Location: London (twice/week onsite - additional travel may be required)
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-month initial contract (scope for extension)

We’re supporting a leading Wealth Management client working on the delivery of new features and developments across a number of its platforms. This person will be responsible for leading these enhancements and will require an in-depth understanding of data and associated architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading on data analysis and data platform management. Currently, a lot of projects rely on business-critical data and systems, so it is essential this person excels in this space.
  • Senior stakeholder engagement. This person will have a wide range of both business and technical stakeholders, so needs to be very confident engaging at a senior level.
  • Migration of a partner-facing platform. This person will sit between Project and Investment teams to coordinate and ensure delivery.
  • Daily stand ups - the current team have adopted agile ways of working, so this person will need to be comfortable engaging with these, and leading when required.

Required experience:

  • Previous experience delivering complex data and data platform transformation, ideally this will be in an investments data capacity. SQL, DevOps, Confluence are all considered key skills.
  • Proficiency in Investments Data analysis
  • Experience delivering change in Agile environments, need to be able to demonstrate ability to really help drive this. Experience leading daily stand-ups / scrum ceremonies.
  • Background in similar roles within Wealth or Investment management
  • Strong organisational, planning and stakeholder management skills
