Platform Solutions Developer
Location: Nationwide (with occasional travel to Lanes Group offices)

As we continue to invest in our digital capabilities, we're looking for a talented Platform Solutions Developer to join our growing internal Platform Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, building scalable applications, and developing integrations that make a real impact across a large national organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Platform Solutions Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting solutions across our Microsoft ecosystem. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll transform requirements into innovative technical solutions that improve efficiency, connectivity, and user experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, configuring, and deploying solutions across Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Designing and maintaining integrations between Microsoft 365 and third-party platforms using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and custom connectors.
- Building and managing custom connectors to enable seamless data flow across business systems.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Creating automated workflows that streamline processes and drive operational efficiency.
- Supporting, optimising, and troubleshooting existing integrations to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
- Producing clear technical documentation, user guidance, and best practice standards.

Essential Experience & Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Microsoft 365 Development or Integration-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, including:
- SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Teams
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Experience developing and managing API integrations, including:
- Microsoft Graph API
- REST APIs
- Third-party APIs
- Strong Power Platform development experience.
- Knowledge of Azure integration services, including Logic Apps, Functions, and API Management.
- Understanding of JSON, XML, OAuth, and associated web technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent documentation practices.

Desirable Experience
- Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) experience and certifications.
- X++ development experience.
- PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
- Experience with Data Warehousing and Microsoft Fabric.
- Knowledge of enterprise-scale application integration environments.
