OTA Platform SME
Location: Reading - Hybrid - 1 day onsite per week
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Rate: £500 per day inside IR35
Duration: 12 months initially
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced OTA Platform SME to support a key programme migrating a legacy OTA platform to AWS. You will act as a subject matter expert across design, testing, and deployment, ensuring secure and scalable OTA capabilities for SIM/eSIM lifecycle management.
This role requires strong telecoms expertise, with hands-on involvement in HLD/LLD reviews, validation, vendor engagement, and deployment oversight.

Key Responsibilities
- Support design activities alongside architecture teams
- Review HLD/LLD and validate solutions during testing
- Define and agree migration strategy with vendors
- Oversee OTA platform deployments
- Provide SME support on OTA platforms and SIM lifecycle management
- Ensure secure remote provisioning and OTA operations
- Support migration from legacy systems to AWS
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong telecoms background, particularly messaging domain
- Proven experience with OTA platforms
- Solid understanding of SIM/eSIM lifecycle management
- Knowledge of ES and SM-DP+ technologies
- Experience with OTA design, validation, and deployments
- Ability to work with vendors on migration and integration

Desirable
- Experience with AWS migrations
- Knowledge of telecom protocols and OTA security frameworks
- Background in complex telecom or mobile network environments
