Platform Support Engineer | Hybrid | London

We're seeking a Platform Support Engineer to help transform and scale a technology support function through automation, engineering excellence, and operational innovation.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who thrives on solving complex operational challenges, eliminating manual processes, and building intelligent, self-service support experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automation solutions that streamline support operations and reduce manual workload.
  • Build and maintain workflows, integrations, and tooling using scripting, low-code platforms, and ITSM automation.
  • Lead technical escalations and drive continuous improvement across support services.
  • Manage identity, access, device, and user lifecycle processes across modern cloud platforms.
  • Partner with security, infrastructure, and platform teams to improve system reliability, compliance, and user experience.
  • Own projects from concept through delivery, ensuring robust documentation and operational readiness.
  • Mentor colleagues and promote a culture of automation, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.

Experience Needed

  • Extensive experience in a technical support, platform support, or support engineering role.
  • Strong automation mindset with experience using workflow orchestration tools, scripting (Python, Bash, etc.), and ITSM platforms.
  • Expertise supporting cloud-based identity, endpoint management, and productivity platforms.
  • Strong Linux and macOS troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering technical projects end-to-end.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across security, infrastructure, and operational teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
