Role Overview
The Plating Supervisor role is located at Hinkley Point C on a permanent basis, with a temporary shift pattern of 10 hours per day.
You will be part of an experienced team, overseeing plating operations within this critical energy project.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Shift Rotations: 10/4 (Ten days on, four days off)
- Working Hours: 10-hour shifts
- Benefits: Rates, lodge accommodation, bus allowance, and performance-based bonuses in line with Hinkley Point C Site Agreement.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
One of the following qualifications is required:

- Level 3 Apprenticeship in:
- Plating, Fabrication, Welding
- Structural Steelwork
- Shipbuilding
- Metalworking
OR
-
Minimum Level 3 Diploma in:
- Plating, Fabrication, Welding
- Structural Steelwork
- Shipbuilding
- Metalworking
(Note: For qualifications awarded in Scotland, the minimum level is SVQ Level 6 equivalent)
OR
- ACE Skillset Card (Plating Level 3)
Required Safety & Compliance Certificates:
- LATS (Logistics and Trailers)
- SSSTS (Site Safety Supervisor Training Scheme)
- IOSH Managing Safely
