About the Role
When children, young adults and their families stay with us, we prioritise creating unforgettable experiences—through swimming, sensory play, quizzes, music, games, and events! Every day offers new opportunities—do you want to play a part in making this happen?
We support a diverse group of children and young adults, many of whom have complex disabilities and life-limiting illnesses. These may impact aspects such as communication, mobility, and sensory needs, and require meticulous care and inclusivity in our approach.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of our small but ambitious team, your role will involve:
- Organising and facilitating engaging, fun, and high-quality activities for children, young adults, and their families.
- Providing emotionally supportive environments, helping to create positive experiences and lasting memories during what can often be a challenging time.
- Demonstrating a professional yet energetic and inclusive approach—balancing joy and sensitivity with professionalism.
- Adapting activities for children and young adults aged birth to 35, with a focus on age-appropriate engagement and activities tailored to those with complex needs.
- Leading individual activities (supported by care colleagues) and contributing to group events and community outings, including visits to homes, festivals, and outdoor venues.
- Using our wheelchair-accessible vehicle to deliver fun and enrichment where it's needed within our local community.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
