Hours: 3:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday
Salary: Scale 3, Point 6 - 8, £25,989 - £26,824 (Actual Salary: £9,164.01 - £9,458.44)
Starting Date - September 2026
Kimberley Primary & Nursery School has a vacancy for an After School Club Play Leader to develop and lead after school provision for pupils aged 3-11. This post is a permanent term time only post and the displayed salary will be pro rata.
Kimberley Primary & Nursery School is a popular and growing one form entry school, educating pupils aged 3-11. We can offer you a friendly, supportive team, which is part of the East Midlands Education Trust (EMET), and training to support your development and success in your role.
We are looking for someone who is committed to providing high quality childcare in line with the ethos of our school. You would need to be:
- Highly organised
- Maintain confidentiality
- Prepared to plan, prepare and set up activities and equipment in good time for the start of each session which will interest and motivate pupils of differing ages
- Prepare and plan afternoon snacks
- Able to liaise with parents and child minders in a positive and pro-active manner
- Work with the other staff in the school to pass on messages and other communications.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
