Play Worker with Spring Oscars
Location: Edinburgh (Haddington)
Salary: up to £24,504.25 per annum
Contract/Hours: Permanent/Part time – 31.25 hours per week

About Oscars

A bit about the role:
We're looking for a warm, energetic play work to help create a fun clear safe and nurturing environment for children before and after school. In this role, you'll bring play to life, planning and leading engaging activities, supporting children's learning through play, and ensuring every session feels welcoming and inclusive. Whether you're setting up a creative morning activity or winding down the day with games and laughter, you'll play a key part in making sure every child leaves happy, confident and excited to return.

Hours / Shifts
The club shifts are:
- Breakfast Club - Monday to Friday from 7.15am to 9am
- After School Club - Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 6pm, and Friday from 11.30am to 6pm
In the role of Play Worker (Unqualified), you'll be:
- Promoting good childcare practice in a professional, inclusive, and flexible manner.
- Planning and taking part in play and leisure activities for children.
- Caring for and supervising our children, making sure that they are safe and happy.
- Thoroughly enjoying your role and making each day count for the children in our care.
What we need from you
In the role of Play Worker (Unqualified), we're ideally looking for someone who has:
- A real passion to work with children and make a difference.
- First Aid qualification or ability to achieve.
- Enhanced PVG Disclosure Certificate or ability to achieve.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or ability to achieve.
