About the Company
Our client is a high-growth, venture-backed technology company helping transform the commercial insurance industry through AI, automation, and intelligent data solutions. Working with brokers, MGAs, wholesalers, and carriers, they've developed a platform that enables insurance organisations to modernise operations, unlock value from complex data, and make faster, smarter commercial decisions. Following strong market traction and continued investment, the business is expanding its commercial team and is looking for an experienced sales leader to establish and grow its presence across the UK.
About the Role
This is a genuine player-coach opportunity for someone who enjoys building as much as selling. You'll remain responsible for winning strategic enterprise accounts while helping shape the commercial organisation alongside the founders. Initially, your focus will be driving new business, refining the go-to-market strategy, and establishing repeatable sales processes. As the business grows, you'll mentor and develop a small team of enterprise sellers, creating the foundations for future commercial expansion. This role is ideal for someone who wants the autonomy of an early-stage environment, enjoys leading by example, and is excited by the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
