Player Protection Analyst - Part Time (evenings and weekends)

Player Protection Advisor

Salary: £14,528 Rota / shifts: 18.75 hours per week. 4 shifts per week – 3 x 4.75 hours and 1 x 4.5 hours – these may include weekends Hours: 18:00 – 23:00

Note: This role is office-based for the 4-month probation and training period. Hybrid working (2 days in the office per week) becomes available after successful completion.


About the Role

The Player Protection Advisor will review members’ accounts and activities for signs of harm and concern, conduct appropriate risk management for members, and engage directly with high-risk individuals to implement interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess potential harm and risk indicators for members, particularly those triggering internal controls.
  • Evaluate affordability, applying player protection policies to make reliable, documented judgments on interactions.
  • Manage direct member correspondence via phone, email, and occasionally live chat, including safer gambling queries.
  • Resolve customer complaints in line with complaints procedures.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in safer gambling practices, with a strong passion for supporting vulnerable members.
  • Efficiently leverage back-office tools and alerts to execute safer gambling checks and ensure smooth member journeys.
  • Maintain accurate records (observations, interactions, actions) and determine optimal follow-up points.
  • Focus on both team goals and personal objectives.
