NON CYC VACANCY

SCHOOL VACANCY

Knavesmire Primary School is looking to appoint a caring and dedicated person to support all aspects of the out-of-school care provision for pupils.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality care and provision for the children who attend the Knavesmire Cool Kids Club (KCKC), making the school's provision a warm, fun, and supportive place to be. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils, delivering engaging activities under the guidance and support of the After School and Holiday Club Manager.

You will have experience of working with children or young people in a play work or educational setting, delivering engaging activities for pupils, and you will be able to communicate effectively with pupils, parents/carers, and staff.

You will have a good standard of literacy and numeracy, and a qualification in childcare would be an advantage. Additional qualifications in food hygiene and first aid are desirable, but training will be provided if you do not already hold these.

In return, we can offer a supportive working environment, with colleagues who care deeply, are experts in their fields, and who are passionate about what they do. We also offer a range of staff benefits, and further details regarding our benefits can be found on our website here.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
