At Newett Homes we are looking for an experienced Plot Conveyancer to join our in house team and play an important role in supporting our expanding portfolio of developments.

About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plot Conveyancer to join a growing business with clear ambition, strong values and a genuine focus on quality. You will take ownership of day-to-day plot conveyancing for our new-build developments, working closely with our Sales, Commercial, Land and Technical teams to progress transactions efficiently, accurately and with a strong focus on service. You will liaise with solicitors and other stakeholders, provide clear reporting, and support the smooth management of plot sales and part exchange matters through to completion. This role would suit someone with strong technical knowledge of property law, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage plot sales and associated part exchange and resale transactions, including investigating title for both freehold and leasehold properties, raising enquiries where required, and preparing reports on title.
- Ensure all legal documentation, including contracts, title documents and searches, is accurate, complete and up to date.
- Carry out due diligence, including title checks, planning permissions and the review of relevant covenants or restrictions affecting land and property.
- Maintain a strong and current understanding of property and conveyancing law, regulations and industry best practice.
- Keep up to date with home ownership schemes and current sales incentive arrangements.
- Ensure transactions are managed in line with company policies, compliance requirements and agreed timelines.
- Manage multiple transactions at once while maintaining accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with the wider business to support smooth processes, strong communication and timely completions.

About You
- Previous experience in residential conveyancing, together with a strong understanding of the residential property market.
- Ideally, at least three years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of conveyancing processes and procedures.
- Experience of managing a varied workload while remaining organised, focused and calm under pressure.
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, customers and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and resolve complex legal issues efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues early.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and a willingness to work closely with colleagues across the business.
