Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Plumber role based in Pitstone. The Plumber will install, maintain, and repair plumbing and heating systems, including pipes, fixtures, and associated equipment in residential and commercial properties. Daily tasks include diagnosing issues, performing routine and emergency repairs, testing systems for proper operation, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, collaborating with colleagues and other trades on construction projects, and maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used. Regular interaction with customers is required to explain work, provide recommendations, and ensure a professional, courteous service experience.

  • Strong skills in Plumbing installation, system Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair of residential and commercial systems.
  • Experience working with Pipe systems, including fitting, joining, and troubleshooting piping layouts.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and maintain professional conduct on-site.
  • Relevant plumbing qualifications or certifications, and a solid understanding of UK plumbing and heating regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, use plumbing tools and testing equipment, and work safely in varied construction environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to job sites in and around Pitstone.
