Salary
£34,345.00 - £37,238.00 per year, with opportunities to supplement earnings through call-out and overtime.

We’re looking for a self-motivated, experienced Plumber to join our Property Team, working across Newbury, Thatcham, and Reading.

Responsibilities
As part of our Responsive Repairs Team, you’ll deliver high-quality plumbing work across SNG homes. Key duties include:
Core Plumbing Tasks
- Repairs: Fixing and maintaining domestic plumbing installations (pipes, drains, waste systems).
- Installations:
- Replacing sanitary ware (baths, showers, trays, level decks).
- Fitting kitchen sinks, pipework, and associated plumbing (e.g., copper, Speedfit, waste, rainwater).
- Installing taps, ball valves and other sundry fixtures.
- Upgrading domestic appliances (e.g., showers, washing machines).
- Mains and Systems:
- Installing/repairing hot water systems (vented/unvented cylinders, HWSS-qualified or equivalent).
- Maintaining servicing cold water storage tanks and renewing stock if required.

Requirements
- Experienced & Qualified:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification) OR a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on plumbing experience.
- Skills & Attitude:
- Proven ability to work in occupied residential properties with excellent customer service skills.
- Commitment to health & safety compliance (vehicles, sites, and daily operations).
- Team player attitude with strong work ethic.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Experience with mobile tech (e.g., tablets) is essential.
- Preferred: Current CSCS card.
- Licensing & Vehicle:
- Full, valid UK driving licence with at least 1 year’s odometer readings recorded.
- Ability to operate a company van (satisfactory licence and qualifications checks).
