About the Role
As an NTU Plumber, you will join the in-house Estates team, where you support the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the university estate.
This varied and diverse role involves conducting day-to-day duties such as:
- Undertaking fault finding, routine, and emergency maintenance tasks and repairs for plumbing, heating, ventilation, and domestic services across all university buildings.
- Installing and maintaining plumbing, heating, ventilation, and domestic services.
- Supporting minor works projects and efficiently executing high-quality repairs.
- Conducting statutory inspections.
- Assisting with the setup and delivery of key university events, including open days, graduation ceremonies, and clearing.

- Brackenhurst Campus: Offers veterinary nursing centres, climate-controlled greenhouses, and state-of-the-art laboratories, including the Lyth building (completed in 2020).
- Confetti Campus: Features professional TV/film studios, music studios, esports facilities, and industry-standard technology.
- Mansfield Hub (Vision West Nottinghamshire College): A £6.5m facility completed in 2020 with training spaces for clinical practitioners and sports science labs.
