Are you a qualified Plumber looking for your next role? Join Amplius and be part of a skilled team delivering high-quality plumbing repairs and maintenance across customers’ homes, communal areas and empty properties.
The Basics
- Salary: £37,729.31 per year
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: Amplius south region (Milton Keynes and surrounding areas)
- Work hours: Monday to Friday (4 days 08.30am - 5pm & 1 day 10am - 6pm)
What You’ll Get

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs including leaks, blockages, taps, valves, sanitary fittings and pipework
- Diagnosing faults accurately and completing repairs on a first-time fix basis wherever possible
- Ensuring all work meets health & safety requirements, water regulations and internal standards
- Working in customers’ homes, communal areas and empty properties to deliver a responsive service
- Recording job details, materials used and outcomes using mobile technology
- Working collaboratively with other trades to complete multi-skilled repairs where needed
- Managing tools, equipment and stock responsibly
- Identifying and reporting safeguarding, compliance or property concerns
- Taking part in a 24-hour standby rota service when required

What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience in domestic plumbing repairs in occupied and/or empty homes
- Good understanding of water systems and how to diagnose faults
- Ability to find and fix issues first time where possible
- Knowledge of water regulations and safe working practices
- Good communication and customer service skills in people’s homes
- Able to work on your own and manage your workload
- Comfortable using a mobile device to record job details
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
- Able to pass a DBS check and eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
