EQUANS are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Plumber to be based in Blaydon tyne and wear. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, van and fuel card and benefits package.

General Overview

The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures within residential properties. This role ensures that all plumbing work is carried out to the highest standards, contributing to the overall functionality and safety of company properties.

Key Accountabilities

Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings. Complete repairs and maintenance across various trade disciplines where competent Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective solutions. Install and repair water heaters, boilers, and other plumbing-related appliances. Ensure compliance with current plumbing codes and regulations. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including maintenance logs and safety checks. Attend and complete repair appointments punctually and within target times, aiming for first-time resolution Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and ensure timely resolution of issues. Communicate effectively with clients and tenants to explain necessary work and provide maintenance advice. Any other reasonable management request. Use of PDA system to accurately facilitate the day to day running of all tasks

Who are we looking for?

Qualifications or Required Experience:

Essential:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent. Valid JIB card Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in Construction Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work. Knowledge of current plumbing codes and standards. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Full UK driving license.

Please be advised that the successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic Access NI check prior to commencing employment.
