Maintenance Plumber
Location: Wakefield Council Depot, Altofts Road, Normanton, Wakefield, WF6 2XA
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus on-call requirement
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Your new role
About the role
As an Maintenance Plumber with Robertson Facilities Management, you will work daily as part of a small site-based FM team and alongside client representatives, with responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, high quality property maintenance service across out client's local properties.
Your key responsibilities include:
- To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the contract.
- To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work
- To undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the client teams.
- To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools
- To operate at all times with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.
- To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and helpdesk reports, informing the RFM Maintenance Engineering Manager and/or sub-contractors of any follow up action that may be required.

About you
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Plumber with experience in a buildings or facilities maintenance environment. You'll have extensive experience in planned and reactive maintenance tasks working within SLA’s such as Time-to-fix, first-time-fix, etc. You'll have an NVQ Level 2 or higher in plumbing, IPAF / PASMA Certification, Water Management experience of L8, and ACS Commercial & Catering gas qualification. Refrigeration experience is an advantage. Valid UK Driving Licence required.
