Commercial Plumber Colne 5-Week Contract | Starts 27th July £190 Per Day
First Achieve Engineering is recruiting on behalf of a client for experienced Commercial Plumbers to join a 5-week commercial project based in Colne, starting 27th July. This is a labour-only installation project working on the replacement and installation of domestic water services within a commercial environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Removing existing copper pipework infrastructure and retaining materials on site.
- Installing new domestic water services, following existing routes where appropriate.
- Installing new brackets and supports for phenolic insulation blocks.
- Installing all associated valves, fittings, supports, and fixings.
- Installing TMVs and thermal expansion vessels.
- Installing phenolic insulation and identification labelling.
- Carrying out isolations, drain-downs, flushing, and recommissioning of domestic water systems.
- Completing pressure testing of all new pipework in line with industry standards.
- Sleeving and fire-stopping all wall and floor penetrations.
- Maintaining a clean working environment and removing installation waste from site.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Commercial Plumber.
- Experience installing domestic water services within commercial buildings.
- Ability to work independently from drawings and specifications.
- Valid CSCS/JIB Plumbing Card (preferred).
- Own tools and PPE.
- Available to start on 27th July for the full 5-week duration.
