Plumbing and Maintenance Service Engineer
Service Engineer

About the Role
You will play a crucial role by attending service calls at customer homes and dealer premises. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing field assessments and identifying any technical concerns
- Communicating findings to the Service Manager
- Providing on-site technical support for water treatment systems

The ideal candidate will:
- Exhibit a customer-first mindset, delivering exceptional service with a friendly yet professional demeanour
- Diatribe troubleshooting and repairs for domestic water softeners and other systems
- Maintain a high standard for cleanliness, safety, and thoroughness on every call
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive customer satisfaction
- Stay proactively updated on new products, techniques, and compliance standards

Person Specification
Essential Requirements
- Qualified or Time-Served Plumber: NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Strong foundation in domestic plumbing systems
- Hands-on experience in white goods installation and servicing
- Exceptional customer service skills (ability to connect with customers and resolve concerns empathetically)
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- Self-motivated individual with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Experience
- Prior exposure to hardware or appliance servicing, particularly within a retail or field service environment
- Comfort with independent or team-based working in varying schedules
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic demands
