Plumbing Supervisor
Plumbing Supervisor – Commercial (North of Scotland)
Location: Aberdeen (with projects extending across Highland, Moray, Aberdeen City, and Aberdeenshire)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to lead site teams across commercial projects in the North of Scotland. This role is crucial for ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of works while overseeing day-to-day operations and team performance.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate hands-on leadership, a strong technical background, and a proactive mindset in managing both people and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Team & Operations Leadership:
- Lead site teams on commercial heating projects, ensuring work meets quality standards and project timelines.
- Manage daily site activities, labour allocation, and resource distribution efficiently.

Quality & Compliance:
- Guarantee adherence to company H&S standards, including the completion of Risk Assessments (RAMS), Toolbox Talks (TBTs), Weekly Returns, and all relevant site documentation.
- Verify all works align with drawings, specifications, and project programmes.

Safety & Procedures:
- Enforce health & safety protocols and ensure adherence to safe systems of work.
- Conduct site inspections, testing coordination, and snagging to identify and rectify deficiencies early.

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and other trades to обеспечивать smooth project flow.
- Monitor progress and report on productivity, issues, or delays promptly and transparently.

- Mentor and support electricians, labourers (mates), and apprentices to foster skill development and team cohesion.
Essential Requirements

Experience:
- Proven track record in supervising plumbing teams and industrial project management.

Qualifications/Certifications:
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (minimum requirement).
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification (highly preferred).
- Valid CSCS or ECS card.
- Full UK driving licence (strongly preferred for regional project travel).

Technical & Communication Skills:
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Optional (Desirable) Qualifications:
- First Aid at Work (can be provided if necessary).
- Domestic/Commercial Gas Safe qualification (advantageous but not mandatory).
- IPAF & PASMA certification (can be facilitated by the company).
