Plumbing Supervisor – Corby (London & Midlands Area)

Location

Covering London and Midlands with an office base in Corby.

Contract: Permanent and Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) – No evenings, weekends, or on-call required.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Plumbing Supervisor, you’ll lead a crew across London and the Midlands from our Corby office, balancing site visits with administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise & mentor 12–14 plumbers, including:
    • Conducting competency assessments
    • Creating/maintaining a training matrix
    • Driving professional development
  • Manage team schedules, rotas, sickness & annual leave approvals
  • Oversee daily procurement, raising Purchase Orders (POs) and managing vehicle stock
  • Perform technical checks on completed jobs, give "toolbox talks", and provide hands-on support to Account Managers
  • Assist with recruitment & onboarding for new hires
  • Lead complex plumbing projects on-site, ensuring quality & safety standards
  • Regularly visit the Corby office for administrative coordination

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
  • G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems certification
  • RPZ ticket preferred (but not essential)
  • Proven experience in water hygiene plumbing & supervisory/team lead capacity
  • Full UK Driving License
