Pink Tile Education is working in partnership with an Outstanding specialist school in Portsmouth that supports children and young people aged 3-19 with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism, severe learning difficulties, profound learning difficulties, physical disabilities and complex medical needs.
This is not your typical classroom support role.
The school provides a highly personalised and therapeutic approach to education, with excellent staff-to-student ratios, specialist facilities and a strong focus on helping every pupil achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

We are seeking compassionate, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join the team on a full-time basis from September, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following a successful placement.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with complex SEND needs throughout the school day
- Working alongside teachers, therapists and specialist staff
- Assisting with communication, learning, independence and life skills
- Supporting pupils with personal care where required
- Encouraging engagement, confidence and positive outcomes
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
We're Looking For People Who
- Have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
- Have a background in SEND, care, support work, healthcare, youth work or education
- Are patient, nurturing and adaptable
- Can remain calm and positive in challenging situations
- Want a long-term career supporting children with additional needs

Requirements
- ✅ Enhanced DBS already in place
- ✅ Right to Work in the UK
- ✅ Able to provide references covering the last 2 years
- ✅ Available full time from September
