PMO Analyst

Location: Crewe (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Benefits

Are you an organised PMO professional looking to build your career in a business investing heavily in technology and transformation?

We're working with a well-established organisation looking to add a PMO Analyst to their growing IT & Transformation team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to both business-as-usual change and a large-scale transformation programme that's reshaping customer journeys and business processes across the organisation.

Working closely with the Programme Director and CTO, you'll become a key part of the PMO function, supporting multiple projects while helping to drive consistency, governance and best practice across the wider business.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the successful delivery of strategic change and technology projects.
  • Maintaining project governance, controls and PMO standards across multiple workstreams.
  • Producing project reports, dashboards and management information for senior stakeholders.
  • Managing RAID logs, ensuring risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies are tracked and escalated where appropriate.
  • Monitoring project plans, milestones and deliverables, helping to identify potential risks and keep projects on track.
  • Supporting project budgeting, forecasting and resource planning activities.
  • Coordinating governance meetings, steering groups and project forums, ensuring actions are followed through to completion.
  • Maintaining project documentation and ensuring reporting remains accurate and up to date.
  • Working closely with project teams, business stakeholders and IT to support successful project delivery.
  • Helping embed consistent project management processes and PMO best practice across the organisation.

What we're looking for

  • Around 18 months to 2 years' experience in a PMO Analyst, Project Coordinator or Project Support role.
  • Previous experience within Financial Services or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or MSP.
  • Experience producing project reporting, dashboards and management information.
  • Understanding of RAID management and project governance.
  • Exposure to project budgets, forecasting or resource planning.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships across technical and business teams.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
