PMO Analyst

📍 Hybrid | Permanent | SC Clearance Required (or eligible)

We're working with a large organisation in the UK's civil nuclear sector that's investing heavily in its IT and digital transformation capability. With over 7,000 users and a well-established PMO, they're now looking for a PMO Analyst to join the team.

This isn't a PMO that's starting from scratch. The foundations are already there, so it's about helping improve what's already working, supporting Project Managers, and making sure projects are delivered in a consistent and well-governed way.

If you enjoy getting involved across the full project lifecycle rather than sitting in one area of PMO, this could be a great fit.

The role

You'll support the PMO Manager across a broad portfolio of IT projects, getting involved in areas such as:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience in a regulated industry such as Nuclear, Defence, Utilities, Financial Services or Government would be a real advantage, but it's not essential. Qualifications such as P3O, PRINCE2, APM or MoR would also be beneficial.

Why join?

This is a chance to join an organisation with a genuine long-term investment in technology and project delivery. You'll be joining an established PMO where your ideas will be listened to, you'll have exposure to a varied portfolio of projects, and you'll play a key role in improving how the PMO supports delivery across the business.

If you're looking for your next PMO opportunity and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where no two days are the same, I'd love to have a chat.
