Job Description

The CI Coordinator will support the Head of Projects & CI and team in setting up project, programme and portfolio governance to oversee change across the Chilled division, initially focusing on the CLL Warehouse Operational network. This role will be responsible for reporting network change activity (CI, Projects & Ops Excellence) including progress against plan, risks and issues and benefits; working with the operational teams, CI colleagues and other supporting functions. The individual will help to facilitate change activity across the network to deliver Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People benefits encouraging colleague participation. At times the role will require delivery of network projects using a more traditional Project approach.

This is a full time, permanent role. Working Monday to Friday, 08.30-17.00

Base location may be flexible across the Chilled network

Key Duties of a PMO and CI Coordinator:

  • Monitoring and supporting the delivery of the network portfolio plan (CI & Ops Excellence) working with site teams and the CLL Regional CI Manager(s) and broader Projects team; ensuring all site CI activity goes through the appropriate Gateways and sign off
  • Responsible for reporting progress, risks, issues and benefits relating to network activity supporting the Head of Projects and CI (Project Management Office, PMO)
  • Work with CI Practitioners and the Regional CI Manager to establish, maintain and improve upon site change governance
  • Lead the delivery of small projects to unlock benefit
  • Support the upskilling & coaching of colleagues across the network to understand basic project and work stream management
  • Support and lead at times senior stakeholder engagement
  • Support the delivery of the CLL business wide Change and CI strategy working with the Central Projects and CI team and other CI Practitioners i.e. Diagnostic activity, sharing of good practice, role modelling the right behaviours

Qualifications

  • PRINCE2, APM or equivalent Project Management qualification
  • Ideally aware of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Ideally previous experience of being involved or leading elements of a project i.e. basic Project Management tools and techniques
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to deliver training
  • Some knowledge of IT systems for example SAP, M-Type, SCE, TMS, Info view ideal
  • MS proficient (i.e. Excel, PPT, Word, Teams, BI)
  • Experience of working in the chilled logistics sector ideal
  • Experience of working closely with operations and developing effective working relationships
  • Experience of implementing change in a challenging environment
  • Experience of working in a project environment and of improvement activity
  • Experience of working closely with operations and developing effective working relationships
  • Line management experience would be useful
