About The Role

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced individual to join the CEO Office as a Project Management Office (PMO) Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to executive-level initiatives, cross-functional projects, and strategic priorities across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and executing projects, with strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders. The role will primarily focus on supporting the Risk Transformation Programme, while also contributing to other initiatives driven by the CEO Office.

As part of this role, you will play a key part in coordinating, governing, and delivering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute projects sponsored by the CEO Office, ensuring timely delivery of objectives and milestones. Support the Business Manager and Head of Governance in coordinating and managing key initiatives, including the Risk Transformation Programme. Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables. Track and monitor actions, decisions, and progress across executive-level projects, ensuring accountability and follow-through. Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic goals. Support governance processes by maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, logs, and records. Liaise with teams across the organization to gather updates, resolve issues, and support the successful delivery of actions. Conduct ad-hoc analysis, research, and reporting to support decision-making and special initiatives as required by the CEO Office. Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data analytics, ensuring responsible use of insights in line with data governance and security standards.

What You Will Bring

Proven experience in leading and executing projects, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Strong project management skills, including planning, tracking, and reporting on progress. Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to and engage with senior stakeholders. Professional maturity and discretion when working with executive-level teams. High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex information clearly and concisely. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar) is an advantage. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience or familiarity with risk transformation initiatives or governance-related projects is highly desirable. AI readiness -Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data, analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure, interpret, and present complex information clearly and concisely. Experience in conducting research, data analysis, and problem-solving to support decision-making.

Technical Proficiency

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Trello, or similar) is an advantage.

Project Management Expertise

Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering projects, including tracking milestones, dependencies, and risks. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.

Educational Background and Certifications

Undertaking a course in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus but not mandatory.
