PMO Manager
London | Hybrid | Permanent | £80,000 to £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits
We're partnering with a fantastic group of people in a global engineering and project services business that's growing rapidly across Europe and beyond.
This is a newly created PMO Manager / Chief of Staff role with genuine scope, autonomy, and visibility. Reporting to the Group CFO, you'll play a key role in building the Group PMO capability, bringing structure, governance, and accountability to major business initiatives across multiple countries.

The Role
This is far more than project coordination. You'll help build and shape the PMO function, supporting strategic projects across operations, finance, systems, technology, and business transformation.
You'll be responsible for:
- Building PMO frameworks, governance, and reporting across the Group.
- Managing the global portfolio of strategic projects and ensuring successful delivery.
- Producing clear reporting, dashboards, and insights for the Executive Team and Board.
- Tracking milestones, risks, budgets, dependencies, and project performance.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across multiple countries to drive accountability and delivery.
- Continuously improving PMO processes, reporting, and project governance.
- Supporting business transformation, operational improvement, and strategic initiatives across the Group.

About You
We're looking for a confident, organised, and commercially minded PMO leader who enjoys bringing structure to busy, fast-paced environments.
You'll be someone who can lead, influence, and build relationships across the business. You're comfortable working with senior stakeholders, challenging where needed, and keeping projects moving.

Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience building or developing a PMO within a global or multi-site business.
- Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, or another project-led environment.
- Strong programme governance, reporting, and organisational skills.
- The confidence to lead, shape, and organise multiple workstreams across different countries.
- A hands-on approach with the autonomy to get things done without needing constant direction.
- Private Equity experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
