RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deep understanding of Project Management methodologies
- Work directly with Sales, Project Managers, & deployment resources to ensure flawless execution of our implementations
- Ensure customer satisfaction and SLA's are exceeded
- Continuous focus on services improvements
- Comprehensive understanding of financial management & cost control practices
- Maintain communication with customers and WWT staff
- Personnel management and development
- Ability to build a high performance team with high morale
- Recruitment, interviewing, & forecasting staffing requirements
- Drive project schedule, scope, and milestone performance within the PMO
- Monitor and manage the day-to-day aspects of projects within the PMO
- Proper staffing & utilization management
- Excellent understanding of risk management and issue resolution
- Ensure projects are planned and executed in line with the PMO methodology
- Continued focus on methodologies & deployment process improvements
- Review of project deliverables
- Ensure rigour and discipline around post mortem and lessons learnt reviews
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, as well as subcontractors
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree, PMP, or extended management experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years management experience in a Professional Services environment, managing PMO teams that lead complex Information Technology projects
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience
- PMP or PRINCE 2 certified
- Three years + prior sales/business development experience
- Extended knowledge of networking technologies and deployment practices
- Excellent understanding of financial processes; ability to create proformas, track project metrics, forecast future trends, and manage change
- Excellent understanding of the contract process; ability to manage contract modifications and take the lead of negotiations surrounding contract scope, cost, and schedule
- Ability to work independently and to work collaboratively in high functioning global teams
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to implement change
- Valid driver's licence
- Ideal timezone is GMT/GMT+1 aligned our UK office
