# PMO Project Planner – SRO RAPID & Major Projects Programme Severn Trent | Coventry, UK | Full-time (37 hrs/week)

About the Role

We’re seeking a talented PMO Project Planner to deliver our SRO RAPID and Major Projects programme, shaping critical water infrastructure. Based at our Coventry Head Office, you’ll shape and oversee integrated schedules, control delivery, and ensure alignment with RAPID/Ofwat Major Projects gate requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated project/programme schedules, including critical path, recovery, and contingency planning for SRO Major Projects
  • Embed PMO planning standards and governance in complex, multi-supplier environments
  • Consolidate supplier schedules into a unified, aligned master programme for RAPID-regulated schemes
  • Monitor performance against plans, analyse variances, risks and critical path impacts proactively
  • Produce clear, actionable reports (graphical/written/data-driven) for decision-making at project, programme, and portfolio levels
  • Support resource planning, change control, and impact assessments
  • Partner closely with:
    • Project Delivery teams
    • SRO Technical specialists
    • External partners

About You

We’re looking for someone who embodies:

  • Proven PMO experience (project/programme planning, scheduling)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project/Primavera P6
  • Advanced Excel skills for analysis/insight reports
  • Experience in fast-paced, complex environments
  • Strong analytical & commercial awareness
  • Leadership & communication skills (constructive challenge & collaboration)
  • A UK driving licence
