About The Role
Join a team where your leadership can shape how one of the UK's most significant nuclear engineering programmes is delivered. As a PMO Project Manager, you'll drive transformation, improve project visibility, and help teams make better decisions across complex engineering environments. At EDF, Success is Personal – giving you the freedom to make a meaningful impact while growing your career your way.
The Opportunity
As a PMO Project Manager, you'll play a key role in transforming project delivery across the Hinkley Point C engineering programme. You'll lead the centralisation of project information, improve planning and reporting capabilities, and help create a clearer view of engineering progress across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Alongside a salary range of between £68,000 to £78,000 per annum, you'll be based onsite at our Bristol Aztec West office. This role offers hybrid working arrangements, giving you flexibility while remaining closely connected to a major infrastructure programme at the heart of the UK's energy future.
EDF EPR Engineering UK delivers the design for nuclear island buildings, systems, and equipment for Hinkley Point C and similar projects. Working as part of an integrated team, EPR Engineering supports construction and commissioning while preparing design-replication feasibility and related engineering activities.
Working within EDF EPR Engineering UK, you'll contribute to our journey towards An Electric Britain. You'll define and establish the future PMO service offering, lead planning teams, influence senior stakeholders, and help deliver improved project controls across both Hinkley Point C and future nuclear new build opportunities. French language skills would be a bonus in this highly collaborative international environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
