Role Overview
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented podcast editor passionate about storytelling and audio production. You will be responsible for editing episodes of a podcast focused on millennial experiences, covering topics such as dating, family, careers, and health. Episodes typically run 40-60 minutes and feature 1-3 camera angles. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute creatively to a show that resonates with a diverse audience. Your expertise will help elevate the quality of each episode, allowing the host to focus on content creation and audience engagement.
Deliverables
- Edit podcast episodes (audio and video) using DaVinci Resolve, ensuring smooth transitions and professional sound quality
- Apply basic color grading to video footage for a polished, consistent look
- Manage multiple camera angles and synchronize audio/video as needed
- Deliver final episodes in required formats and within agreed timelines
- Collaborate with the host to incorporate feedback and maintain the show’s tone and style

Requirements
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve for both audio and video editing
- Experience editing podcasts or similar long-form content
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, engaging edits
- Basic color grading skills for video content
- Ability to manage multiple camera angles and synchronize audio/video tracks
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
- Availability to edit episodes on a regular schedule
