About the role

As Podcast Producer at The Rundown, you’ll own the end-to-end production of our podcast operation. This role is responsible for sourcing and booking high-quality guests, managing production workflows, coordinating schedules, and ensuring every episode is delivered smoothly and at a high editorial standard.

You’ll work closely with hosts, editors, social, and leadership to help scale the podcast into a category-defining media property. Our ambition is to build one of the most valuable and widely recognised AI podcasts in the world, reaching millions of professionals, founders, operators, and AI enthusiasts every week.

This is a high-ownership role for someone excited to help build and scale a modern media operation at speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own podcast production end-to-end: Manage the full production pipeline from guest outreach and scheduling through recording, post-production, publishing, and delivery.
  • Source and book high-quality guests: Identify and secure compelling founders, operators, creators, and AI experts that align with our audience and editorial goals.
  • Support hosts with episode preparation: Prepare briefing documents, talking points, key discussion angles, and episode structures to help hosts deliver stronger conversations.
  • Coordinate production workflows: Manage calendars, guest communication, recording logistics, approvals, budgets, schedules, and timelines across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
  • Collaborate with post-production: Work closely with editors and content teams to ensure episodes, clips, thumbnails, titles, and assets are delivered on time and at quality.
  • Improve the format over time: Use audience feedback, analytics, trends, and performance data to continuously improve episode quality, guest selection, and show structure.
  • Build scalable systems: Create repeatable workflows, guest outreach systems, briefing templates, and production processes as the podcast operation grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
