Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Podiatrist role based in Twickenham. The Podiatrist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of foot and lower limb conditions for patients of varying ages and clinical needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves:

  • Creating and updating treatment plans
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care

The Podiatrist will also contribute to:

  • Patient education
  • Preventive care initiatives
  • Adherence to clinical governance and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Clinical expertise in Podiatry and Medicine, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of foot and lower limb conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of Biomechanics and Orthotics, including gait analysis, biomechanical evaluation, and prescription of appropriate orthotic devices.
  • Competence in Diabetes-related foot care, including risk assessment, prevention strategies, and management of diabetic foot complications.
  • Recognized degree or diploma in Podiatry and current professional registration/licensure with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail in clinical documentation, and adherence to evidence-based practice and infection control standards.
  • Previous experience in a clinical podiatry setting is desirable; additional training or certifications in musculoskeletal podiatry or diabetic foot care are an advantage.
