HCPC Registered Band 6 Podiatrist – Community Podiatry Team (Full-Time)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HCPC-registered Band 6 Podiatrist to join our Community Podiatry Team, covering West Lancashire on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred care across a range of community clinic locations, bringing healthcare closer to home.
About the Role
As a Band 6 Podiatrist, you will:
Core Responsibilities
- Work with patients in both clinic settings and their own homes, including nursing and residential care settings
- Conduct assessment, treatment, and ongoing management for individuals with diverse podiatric needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across neighbourhood services to enhance local health and wellbeing
Key Duties
- Care for patients with complex, chronic, or long-term conditions
- Provide wound management expertise
- Deliver autonomous, evidence-based clinical decision-making for both acute and chronic needs
- Build relationships with patients, carers, colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care continuity -Manage defined caseloads and align care with service guidelines, audits, and improvement initiatives
- Support anticipatory and maintenance needs with proactive, responsive care

- Someone with post-registration Podiatry experience
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Clinical skills pride focusing on compassion, proactiveness, and clinical reasoning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
