Police Complaint Reviews Caseworker
Police Complaint Reviews Caseworker – Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC)
About the Role
The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is the organisation through which the Mayor of London exercises his role as the Police and Crime Commissioner for London and is led by the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime. MOPAC undertakes a broad range of statutory duties and works closely with the Mayor of London, Deputy Mayor and Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to deliver the priorities that will create safer London communities.
Do you have:
- A passion for London and improving the lives of those who live, work, and study here?
- A commitment to ensuring ** fair, timely, and non-discriminatory** police complaint processes for all members of the public?
- The ability to work independently to analyse complex information and produce balanced, proportionate, and legally compliant outcomes?
Most public complaints received by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) come with a right of review. If complainants are unhappy with the outcome, they can request an independent review. The MOPAC Police Complaint Reviews Team (CRT) performs these assessments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
