What We Are Looking For
Previous relevant administrative experience within a diverse organisation (ideally within education) is required
IT literate with high levels of word processing, database and spreadsheet skills.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, policy importance and internal governance
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to use your own initiative and work independently.
Duties/responsibilities:
- Manage and process compliments, suggestions and complaints from a wide range of stakeholders including learners, parents, employers and the public.
- Coordinate the policy review cycle, ensuring that all documents are updated according to their designated interval and reflect the correct 'policy originator' and 'last review date'.
- Support the Data Protection Officer in ensuring all staff comply with GDPR and other data protection laws at all times.
- Conduct regular audits of SharePoint to ensure adherence to storage protocols and address non-compliance via appropriate management channels.
- Prepare documentation, scheduling, and take minutes for meetings and committees.
- Act as a contact point for academic staff, students, and other stakeholders regarding policy, compliance and feedback.

Nescot is graded 'Good' by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Inspectors rated the College as Good in all 8 aspects. The report recognises that students "enjoy their courses and are motivated to succeed", and benefit from "highly supportive relationships" with staff. Safeguarding arrangements are "effective" with regular training for staff, and leaders have in place "an effective policy for safer recruitment."
