About The Role

Responsibilities
- Support the Director in developing and executing strategies to increase SSRN's visibility, recognition, and influence
- Build, manage, and grow strategic partnerships with funders, industry bodies, and key organisations including society publishers
- Contribute to SSRN's positioning as a trusted and recommended preprint server
- Contribute to internal strategic projects to improve workflows, standards, and best practices
- Support high-impact initiatives, including AI-led projects and policy implementation
- Work cross-functionally to improve discoverability and indexing (e.g. PubMed, Web of Science)
- Support the Director in identifying and progressing opportunities for global expansion, particularly in China and India
- Liaise with analytics and processing teams to inform strategic decisions and progress

Requirements
- Experience in scholarly publishing or preprints
- Strong understanding of policy, funder requirements, and the research ecosystem
- Ability to build partnerships and influence external stakeholders
- Experience contributing to strategic and cross-functional projects
- Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable driving initiatives independently
