Supervisor/Surveyor - Poling Operations

Location: UK

Circet UK is hiring an experienced Poling Supervisor/Surveyor with a strong background in poling and civils activities, specialising in telecom infrastructure build and maintenance contract work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

  • Survey and programme works for supply chain partners, ensuring alignment and execution
  • Conduct joint site meetings with clients and other stakeholders to align objectives
  • Complete audits as required, including:
    • Material sample audits
    • Toolbox audits
    • Safety audits with direct staff and sub-contractors
  • Investigate jobs, assign operatives, and manage commercial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all permits, regulatory notices, and site conditions
  • Maintain accurate daily records of planned works
  • Provide daily line manager reports covering outputs, challenges, and issues
  • Report findings in real time via handheld devices, liaising with works control and clients

Key Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in poling and overhead civil engineering in telecom environments (required)
  • Strong IT skills for communication with group works control teams
  • Understanding of permit-to-work schemes and noticing processes
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
    • Prioritise tasks under tight deadlines
    • Implement and amend procedures based on client requirements
