£34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Hours

Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (37.5 hours)

Salary

£34,000 – £36,000 (p/a dependant on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of Poling.

You will be working in and around The Marches (South) area. Our aim is to provide first class services to our Client Openreach in its provision of installing telegraph poles and associated cabling works. With long term contracts within the industry we seek to employ a supervisor to carry out essential works in a busy environment to meet our clients expectations. Your role will be varied as a supervisor, you will be part of team endeavouring to find solutions and maintaining a level of service required by our client. It will be essential that you are trustworthy and can communicate information to the appropriate recipients.

Responsibilities

  • A desired background in the poling industry although not essential.
  • Reporting to the area Patch Manager.
  • Able to think on your feet to overcome issues that may arise.
  • Organise work teams on the daily jobs tasked to them.
  • Carry out safety and quality inspections on live and retrospective work.
  • Be able to carry out non conformance reports via FPQ checks etc.
  • Be able to act and deliver under pressure.
  • Be in touch with teams throughout daily and visit them on regular intervals.
  • Hold meetings with other service providers to gain traction to complete works.
  • Be reactive to instructions / issues that may occur.
  • Be able to get the best out of people by
  • Visit customers to arrange access or resolve issues with jobs.

Experience And Requirements

  • It is essential you are in possession of a Streetworks card (NRASWA).
  • Poling Experience Essential
  • Have knowledge of the poling industry or construction background.
  • IOSH desired
  • Any poling / working in the Openreach network qualifications desired

  • Be able to think efficiently to limit downtime and find the best outcomes
  • Be able to communicate to teams and get the best from them.
