Polish Speaking Accounts Payable Clerk – Heywood Site

About the Role
Fixed-term contract position (due to funding constraints). Attractive salary and benefits available.
Key Responsibilities
This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Accounts Payable (AP) function. You will:
- Post supplier invoices and credit notes
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on queries and communications
- Reconcile statements, including collating & processing business reports
- Review and resolve AP queries and discrepancies
- Maintain clean ledgers, ensuring accurate debit & credit balancing
- Close down Purchase Orders (PO’s)
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
Professional, Cultural Fit & Competencies
We are looking for candidates who bring expertise in Accounts Payable and are aligned with our values and work-ready attitudes:
✅ Previous experience working in Accounts Payable within a large organisation is essential ✅ Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, and a desirable (though essential for this role) fluent command of Polish ✅ Computer literate with strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) ✅ Flexible, reliable, and a collaborative team player ✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment ✅ A plus – Hands-on experience or familiarity with Workday and AI-driven technologies
