Sounds great, what will I be doing?

  • You will deliver high-quality casework, risk assessment and safety planning, helping survivors access housing, financial, legal and therapeutic support while promoting recovery, independence and wellbeing.
  • The role also involves supporting the day-to-day running of the refuge, leading wellbeing activities, working collaboratively with partner agencies, and ensuring the service remains safe, welcoming and empowering.

What do I need to bring with me?

  • You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn.
  • We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
  • You will have experience supporting people with complex needs, ideally within a domestic abuse, housing or refuge setting.
  • You'll be confident undertaking risk assessments, safeguarding and person-centred support planning, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by survivors of domestic abuse.
  • We are looking for someone with excellent communication and record-keeping skills, who can work collaboratively with partners and is committed to empowering women and children through compassionate, trauma-informed support.
  • A domestic abuse qualification and housing experience would be advantageous.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
