Population Health Informaticist (AI Training)
About the Role
At Alignerr, we partner with the world’s leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. We’re looking for Population Health Informaticists to bring their expertise to projects that sit at the intersection of public health and artificial intelligence.
Your deep knowledge of population-level health data will directly inform how AI understands, analyzes, and interprets complex health systems—making a meaningful difference in how tomorrow’s AI tools approach healthcare challenges.

What You’ll Do
- Apply your population health expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated analyses, outputs, and recommendations.
- Collect, integrate, and assess population health metrics to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for improving health outcomes.
- Design and review dashboards, data pipelines, and reporting frameworks that support health monitoring, surveillance, and decision-making.
- Translate complex analytical insights into clear, actionable strategies and data-driven recommendations.
- Provide structured feedback on the accuracy, relevance, and quality of AI outputs in public health contexts.
- Work independently and asynchronously, able to manage tasks on your own schedule.

Who You Are
Key Requirements:
- Hands-on experience working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large-scale health data.
- Proficient in data visualization and reporting tools—including dashboards, pipelines, and surveillance frameworks.
- Skilled at communicating complex data insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and data quality.
- Self-motivated and experienced in working independently on structured assignments.

Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience:
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems.
- Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, or health informatics.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows in health contexts.
- Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, or SQL.
