Portal Support Specialist
About CPM
CPM Holdings, Inc. is a leading process and equipment solutions provider to the oilseed, animal feed, biomass, food, and materials processing industries. We also serve the corn wet milling, pet food, packaging, ethanol and wood industries and are the world leader in pelleting, particle size reduction equipment and automation. CPM has more than 1,280 employees with facilities in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Portal Support Specialist to help build and grow our e-commerce platform. The Portal Support Specialist will collaborate closely with the Product Owner (who is based in the Netherlands) to develop and test new functionalities, while also serving as the first line of support for our internal business stakeholders and occasionally assisting customers. You will be working in a small team, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and support teams such as the IT team, external development teams and the Product Owner to maintain and enhance our platform’s performance and usability. Although your team will be remote to you, you will work on a hybrid basis at our Brough office.

- Proactively provide input on and participate in discovery and development sessions about newly requested workflows or features by the business.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend process, UX and/or development improvements.
- Gather and analyze data on customer behavior and platform usage.
- Validate and refine ideas by creating wireframes, analyzing data, and defining requirements. Perform user acceptance testing of newly developed functionalities to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and report issues or bugs, collaborating with the Product Owner and relevant teams to resolve them.
- Provide first-line support and resolve e-commerce related support requests from business stakeholders and customers.
- Independently diagnose and troubleshoot portal issues, documenting findings and providing clear communication back to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain process descriptions and training materials that helps onboarding sales staff and internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements - What do you need?
- Proven experience in a (business) support role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvements and suggest solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality.
- Familiarity with testing software or portal functionalities is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a willingness to take on challenging tasks and acquire new skills and knowledge to grow within the role.

Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in e-commerce or IT support.
- Familiarity with wireframing tools like Figma is a plus.
- Experience with SQL and ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, UX Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
