About the Role
Circle Health Group, Britain’s leading provider of independent healthcare, is seeking a Porter for their Banking (as-needed) team at Chaucer Hospital.
As a key member of the Portering department, you will provide essential support during busy periods and act as cover for staff on leave or absence. This is an on-call, flexible role, compensating £12.71 per hour.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Patient & Equipment Handling:
- Support patient, equipment, and goods movement (e.g., pharmacy supplies).
- Escort patients and staff, explaining hospital facilities and services with a welcoming demeanour.

Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Customer service experience in a frontline role.
- Prior portering experience in healthcare, hotel, or hospitality is highly beneficial.
- Maths & English qualifications:
- GCSE grades A–C, or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2 evidence.
- IT proficiency:
- Ability to use PC software and hospital systems effectively.
