Porter
**Porter – Full-Time (38.5 hours per week) | Healthcare **
We're currently recruiting a dedicated Porter to ensure the smooth running of operations at Healthcare, as part of Medirest, a specialist healthcare operating company under Compass Group UK & Ireland.
About the Role
On a full-time basis, you'll contribute to maintaining a high standard of customer care and cleanliness across NHS and private hospitals while progressing with a company that values and supports its employees. The shift pattern is 4 on, 4 off.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness in lobbies and public areas
- Assisting housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams with room setup, furniture delivery, and rearrangement
- Handling reception duties, including:
- Booking theatre tickets
- Taking restaurant reservations
- Supporting customer requests, general errands, and basic admin tasks
- Ensuring customer safety by managing dynamic signage (e.g., wet floor alerts, hazard notices)
